There is also a queen pull out and a twin pullout in the living room; comfortably sleeping six persons maximum. It has a modern kitchen with more than ample supplies for your culinary needs., a laundry room, satellite television., internet service, central air-conditioning, an electric fireplace in a nice sized family room, and both a dining and game table. Relax on the beach, take a dip in the lake, or simply sit by the fire, we have whatever you're looking for. Four miles south is the town of Oscoda known as Paddletown, USA thanks to the beautiful AuSable River which lets out into Lake Huron just before downtown. Also in Oscoda are awesome areas to hike and fish. Travel down River Road scenic by-way named Michigan's most scenic drive by Big Seven Travel, which cuts through the Huron National Forest, with many stopping points such as Lumberman's Monument and gorgeous Iargo Springs. The cottage includes; 2 bedrooms with queen-size mattresses, one pull-out couch, a full kitchen stocked with dishes, silverware, and other cookware. Beds are furnished with linens, however, you will need to bring your own towels for bathing and drying dishes. It is perfectly nestled in between tourist hot spot East Tawas and Oscoda. All rooms in the house have spectacular views of Lake Huron, including the upper and lower decks. Family friendly with a sandy beach area and firepit overlooking the lake, as well as a game room (ping pong & air hockey) and fun hangout spaces throughout. Each bedroom has a sliding glass door (with child safety locks) that opens up to the large upper deck overlooking the beach and water. Recently, it appears to be easier through the right side as adults can better step down 3 rocks into the sandy shallow water. Bottom line - we cannot guaranty Mother Nature will comply during your stay. Sometimes the water is calm and easy to access. Sometimes the water is choppy (storms/winds) and makes things harder. Of course, the Oscoda and Tawas parks are very close by if you want to ensure an easy beach access day.

This house is located on 150 feet of pristine Lake Huron sandy beach with 1 acre of wooded land. Beginning in February of 2019 I commenced a comprehensive renovation including plumbing, electrical, insulation, flooring, painting, new bathroom, drywall, new windows, doors, lighting, etc. Then in September of 2019, I began additional improvements including city water, new septic system, new furnace and central A/C. Additionally, I moved the house back 100 feet. The relocated house provides a larger area to play and relax between the lake and house. The fully renovated Amore Beach House is ready to be enjoyed. Each room is finished with new beds, linens, and furnishings. The kitchen is fully stocked with all new kitchen items, glasses, dishes, pots, pans, and accessories. The lake side deck has a new table, chairs and umbrella and chaise lounges. The lot is deep allowing a quiet peaceful area to enjoy Lake Huron. Ample towels are provided. The utility room has a full size washer and dryer. WiFi and cable is provided. Step out of house on the deck and enjoy beautiful sand beach with sand bottom. The lake gently pitches down so children have plenty of area to play before it gets to deep. We are located north of Tawas and just south of Oscoda on U.S. 23. The area is filled with restaurants and fun activities. I would be delighted for you to stay in my beautifully furnished beach house!

***COVID Update*** There are many factors to our place that we believe reduces concerns during COVID. We always leave 1 week between renters. Our house is quite isolated and the beach typically sees no people for days at a time. Unless you venture out on your own, it is very possible you will not come in contact with anyone. Come enjoy our lovely lake/beachfront home located on the beautiful and clear Lake Huron. Located just steps from 129 feet of spectacular sandy beach. Enjoy the shallow entrance with sandy bottom (although there are rocky portions so water shoes would be recommended). ***2020 - Lake is higher than normal which makes the water deeper a bit quicker but there is still plenty of nice sandy beach (see new picture)**** . House is on a very private road. This is a nature lover's paradise with breathtaking lake views from both the full glass-front and huge wrap-around deck. Savor glorious sunrises from the deck, or inside the house, with your morning coffee. Relax to the sound of waves throughout the day and if you're lucky you may catch a glimpse of our local bald eagles. Our comfortable 1300+ square foot, 2 story home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, laundry room, WIFI and views of the lake from the kitchen, dining room, living room and loft/sitting area. Plenty of entertainment for family and friends both indoors (TVs, DVD players, Wii, PS3, board games, books) and outdoors (2 kayaks, paddle boat, sand toys, beach chairs, water noodles, etc). Create culinary masterpieces (or grilled cheese) in our well-appointed kitchen with new appliances (April 2016) or on the outdoor gas grill. Because our home has not been childproofed in any way, parents/guardians must be completely responsible for the safety of their children. Our home is just 16 miles to downtown Cheboygan, 19 miles to Ocqueoc Falls, 25 miles to Rogers City, 26 miles to Onaway, 32 miles to Mackinaw City and 40 miles to St. Ignace.

Cabin #1 is rustic, two bedroom, log cabin located at Les Cheneaux Landing Resort in Cedarville, Michigan. This charming and quaint little cabin sits on the most desirable waters of the Les Cheneaux Islands ~ Snows Channel. Enjoy your short stroll down to the beach, docks, and spacious grounds, fire up the charcoal BBQ, gather at the picnic table, read a book on the front porch as you recover from your daily activities or walk across the street to enjoy Snows Bar & Grill and their famous Snows Burger. The cabin is furnished and equipped with dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, microwave & coffee maker. The daily rate of $162 per night is discounted 25% for a 7 night stay. We do allow friendly dogs and charge $10.00 per night. Welcome to our Quiet Cottage Getaway! Walk to the private beach shared only with other cottage residents of the street or to the frozen custard stand at the other end of the block! Drive 5-minutes to Downtown Lexington where you can enjoy restaurants, whimsy shops, convenience stores, the Theatre, churches, and public boat access. Free Music in the Park every Friday evening throughout the summer months. The main bedroom hosts a queen size bed, while the 2nd bedroom has a twin XL. A queen sized air mattress is also available upon request. Living room features a comfy couch, TV, and stereo system. Our kitchen is also fully equipped! Our cottage does not have A/C, but there are ceiling fans in every room and two portable fans are provided. After a day at the beach and/or downtown, wind down in the peaceful backyard by the fire pit. One pet (under 35 lbs) allowed for a nightly fee. No Smoking inside please.

It consists of 4 sets of bunk beds and also has breathtaking views of the water. Main house sleeps 13 comfortably. Cottage has 2 bedrooms and a futon sofa and sleeps 8 comfortably. Cottage is a fully equipped home that has its own kitchen with eating area, living room and full bath. All bedrooms and sleeping areas are equipped with Television and Directv access. INTERNET HAS ARRIVED AT HIDEAWAY ALSO!! Internet is available for checking email and social media accounts. Vast beautiful view and beach fun are the BEST. We have many activities available for your stay with us such as water sport activities which include kayaks with life jackets (limited number and sizes) & many other land activities available such as bags/corn hole, bocce ball, pop up badminton, kids activities/games and family board games. Deck overlooking beach allows for the adults to view and supervise. The property has endless opportunity for fun and family time. Beach conditions will vary depending on seasonal changes and changes in the lake water levels. At this time, Michigan is experiencing historically high water levels. House is stocked with linens and gives a start up supply of towels, paper products, trash bags, laundry detergent, fabric softener, dish soap, hand soap, shampoo & conditioner in each bathroom, & other basic necessities. There are ample serving dishes, pots and pans and silverware.
